Why do I have community pollinator in my headline? It started with hiking and poison oak! ⛰ 🌱 Here’s the story: I met Danna Breen a couple months ago during Easter Sunday while hiking in Portola Valley. Danna, a stranger at the time, was walking her dogs when she noticed the unfortunate situation: I was sitting on poison oak (hmm.. yikes?! 😬). Instead of being a passive bystander, Danna took it upon herself to warn and help me out. We stayed in touched since, and she even joined the Zero to Infinity community and participated in our mindfulness summer initiative! Last month, Danna was kind enough to invite me to her home and break bread with her family! Her story of compassion and community pollination was so humbling and kind that she (deservingly so) made it on the cover of The Almanac!
