Jessie Salas and I along with Sonia Sng started SPARC (Non-Profit) to support young professionals who come from underprivileged communities. Growing up in first generation and low income families ourselves, it was inspiring and fun to spend time with this group of motivated young professionals, students, and interns at Stanford University . Jessie was able to take professional headshots free of cost for those who didn’t have the financial means for such service. And I had the opportunity to host a tight knit roundtable to share my own story of how I got started in tech and answered flurries of questions on personal growth.
