Any Black Mirror fans out there? Netflix recently dropped a new season over the holidays. Four of the six episodes this season touched on either artificial intelligence technology. This lined up pretty well with the recent spike in consumer interest for smart-home and digital assistant devices in 2017. Without spoiling much, I thought the season's emphasis on ethical and social responsibility surrounding AI technology was both scary and intriguing.  In one episode, online dating is augmented with machine learning to help people find their potential soulmate.
