Happy New Year! Instead of having resolutions, I recently encouraged friends and family to set themes for the New Year. Unlike resolutions, themes are purposeful in that they are not tied to an action or outcome. One of my themes for 2016 was knowledge building. In that capacity, I picked up reading. Instead of boxing myself to reading a number of books or pages a month, the theme of knowledge building allowed me to read for the purpose of enjoyment and development.
