It was great catching up with McKinsey's global managing director Dominic Barton in Hong Kong today.  I had the pleasure of working with Dominic back in his Shanghai days, when he led our Asia practice. In the nine years that he has led our firm, we've expanded into many innovative areas of client service, from data analytics, digital transformation, and design, to new business-building, implementation, and leadership development. We've also vastly expanded our reach into new locations around the world. Dominic has spearheaded the founding of Generation, an innovative program that places disconnected young adults in jobs, giving them the skills and support they need to achieve enduring personal and professional success. Since its creation in 2014, Generation has launched in 47 cities across 5 countries – India, Kenya, Mexico, Spain, and the United States.  In total, more than 10,000 students have graduated and 84% of them have found jobs.
