My wish on International Women's Day is that soon (very soon) we will stop naming a day (or a month) after half the human race. Soon (very soon) we will see women only as complex human beings and stop labeling them through the lens of gender identity and physical characteristics. My wish is that soon (very soon) women will be: *Paid equally and fairly *Recognized for their achievements and rewarded appropriately *Given opportunities commensurate with their education and talents *Safe to be their best selves at work, at home and out in public *Afforded equal protection under the law no matter where they live May it be so.
