The GameStop share situation is a fascinating little story of the modern era. The stock has basically become a Cryptocurrency, held together entirely by belief and scarcity and removed from fundamentals. The stock represents the power of social media and tribalism, and the democratization of a once exclusive world. Tools like Coinbase or Robinhood are making investing fun and accessible, it's becoming the masses vs the experts, just like technology democratized content creation, fashion influence, and then commerce.
