The bad news: I’ve made the choice to cancel my #SXSW plans, including my Pandermonium roadshow on 3/17. I’m not confident it’s safe given such rampant cancellations of international events like this and the continued spread of the virus. I don’t trust others who are downplaying the threat or not paying attention to even basic hygiene / prevention advice eg “stay home if sick.” A dangerous cocktail— as my mother always said when I started driving: “It’s not you I’m worried about.
