I was born in India. This is part of my story. ⁣ Here I am at 3 years old - curious, spunky, and clueless as to what the future would hold. When I was 9, my family immigrated to the United States. ⁣ ⁣ It was tough. My parents came to a foreign land and had no connections, no money, and two little kids to feed. ⁣ ⁣ As I looked around, I saw their struggles. I didn’t want to add to them, but I was struggling.⁣ I had no friends. I was often bullied and felt like a cultural misfit. ⁣ Enter Communities in School who had a special program for “kids like me” - and it’s one of those programs that you often hear about but don’t always fully understand the impact. ⁣ ⁣ Today, as a successful entrepreneur, I get to give back.
