I’ve been plagued with scam calls these past few weeks and decided to end it once and for all... So yesterday I received the same call I have been receiving for the past few weeks asking me if I had recently been in a car accident. Previously I have either said no, told them to go away (or words to that effect) or hung up on them. But the calls persisted. So I took a different tack yesterday and the conversation went like this... Caller: we believe you have recently had a car accident? Me: yes that’s correct Caller: ok could you tell me when the accident occurred and where? Me: it was last week and it was way up North Caller: could you tell me about the driver of the other car? Me: sure he was a male, quite chubby, long grey beard and was wearing a red coat. Said he was in the area delivering gifts Caller: ok did you get his name? Me: yes it was Nicolas Claus Caller: and what was the name and model of his vehicle? Me: well it was an open top with runners instead of wheels Caller: erm, ok do you know the make, model and engine size? Me: not sure of the make or model but it was powered by several reindeer...
