I’ve had a magical year of meeting #midwives and #doulas and families who’ve been affected by #maternalmortality thanks to National Geographic Magazine, and I even saw a beautiful baby boy being born. But the main reason I want to buy this book is because the author’s first name is Eloise, which was my mother’s name. I never asked her who caught seven of her ten babies, and now I would give everything I have to know.
