Got an email today from Amanda Eisenberg of POLITICO , who came running up to me last weekend at the Journalism and Women Symposium (JAWS) Mt. Hood Camp with a hot tip about a book proposal idea she insisted I’d be perfect for. Amanda sat in the front row of my #globalhealth reporting session, right next to Betsy Wade. She insisted that I attend the panel by Jane Isay and Diana B. Henriques about writing your first book, and she’s cheering me on about my upcoming National Geographic feature.
