My week in New York City yielded some powerful lessons as I navigated through United Nations General Assembly side events. The one I'll remember most: Always, ALWAYS be ready to #network . Always have your business cards handy in those settings. Always have something to say. Always be alert and interested. That’s why I was able to have a brief chat with Toyin Saraki , the Nigerian philanthropist who’s Founder and President of The Wellbeing Foundation Africa . I’ve followed her on LinkedIn for quite some time, and it was such an incredible opportunity to meet her in person. But I also earned a PhD in "Carpe Diem" by watching Andre Chow seize the opportunity to network with World Health Organization Director General Dr. Tedros Ghebreyesus. Chow, the co-founder and Chief Product Officer of the UK-based THE DIGITAL SURGERY LIMITED company, had his tablet fired up and ready to display the latest #AI offering from Digital Surgery to a visibly impressed Dr. Tedros.
