I spent a joyous, happy Sunday with two beautiful, bold and brave women who I’ve watched blossom from teenage newsroom interns at the Detroit Free Press into phenomenal journalists. And what’s more, both Jamila Robinson and Jemele Hill are coming to the Journalism and Women Symposium (JAWS) 2018 Fall Camp and Mentoring Project in Welches, Oregon. Jemele, whose outstanding, pioneering career as a journalist with ESPN has inspired women nationwide, will be a keynote speaker. Jamila, who's a Content Strategist for the Gannett | USA TODAY NETWORK , will co-lead a session on lifestyle, culture and entertainment reporting.
