Reflecting back on the impressive December 15th Launch of the Uniting to Combat Neglected Tropical Diseases 5th Progress Report of the London Declaration on Neglected Tropical Diseases. A packed audience heard from speakers including World Health Organization Director General Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation President Mark Suzman, and Eisai Pharmaceuticals CEO Harou Naito. Perhaps the highlight of the event was the launch of Nagasaki University　(長崎大学) ’s Neglected Tropical Diseases Innovation Center, yet another part of the global coalition determined to #beatNTDs.
