I just made a donation to the Journalism and Women Symposium (JAWS) in honor of the indomitable Susan Linnee, former Madrid and Nairobi bureau chief for  The Associated Press + esteemed advisor for the Nation Media Group 's DAILY NATION newspaper in Nairobi, who made her transition on Nov. 6th.
