In 1947, the National Association of Real Estate Brokers (NAREB) was formed by African American realtors in America who were not allowed to participate in existing real estate professional organizations. 70 years later in the City of Charlotte ,  Keller Williams Realty, Inc.  realtor and NAREB member Brenda Hayden is lauded by her colleagues for her recent victory as the first African American female President elect of the Charlotte Regional Realtor Association  (CRRA) She follows in the footsteps of Roger Parham , the first African American CRRA head. At the October 2017 meeting, Charlotte Crown Realtist Association  President M. J. Watkins (below right) presents a plaque of appreciation to CRRA President-elect Hayden.
