I just had to take some time out from holiday merriment to share this post. Like millions of people around the world, I'm stunned and saddened by the passing of George Michael at just 53 years old. Call me a severely late bloomer, but I feel like I'm just hitting my stride at 55. Michael's incredible legacy of music and memories are an appropriate tribute, but this lesson that Frank Sinatra taught him also provides a potent reminder about the responsibility that comes with success--and the need for gratitude.
