IT HAS been a fabulous journey. After little more than four years with BANDHAN BANK, I have decided to move on. I had the honour and privilege to see the birth of a unique bank from a ringside seat. It's the first instance of an MFI transforming into a universal bank in India and also the first bank to be set up in eastern part of India, after Independence. CS Ghosh, the man who has created it, is an extraordinary visionary who combines compassion for poor and a rare business acumen. These 51 months have been a great learning for me.
