Here are some key take-aways: *They pledge to manufacture 2 billion vaccine doses by the end of 2021. *The mRNA platform they use can be easily modified and thus address virus mutations in the span of weeks. *They are working on mRNA-based vaccines for 6(!) other infectious diseases. *The immune response of the vaccine will wane over time therefore we can expect re-vaccinations in the near future. *Their cancer vaccines are advancing into phase 1 in three areas, advanced melanoma, head & neck cancer, and prostate cancer.
