When people ask what I do, I sometimes jokingly say I am on a mid-life crisis break. A younger friend asked me recently if I am not worried about how I would explain the gap in my CV. I was surprised. Do people still get asked about gaps in the CVs? Isn’t the #futureofwork a gig-based way of life? Given that I now work in #financialeducation, I encourage people to ‘retire early’ which basically means financial security is taken care of, and I work because I want to, not because I have to.
