Some advice to product designers looking to implement the Hook Model 👇 Start early. Start when you’re still jotting your idea down on the back of a napkin and fleshing your idea out with friends and colleagues. Before you spend a bunch of time, money, and energy actually building your product, it’s a good practice to sit down the with Hook Model and ask yourself the five key questions: • What habits does your business model require? • What problem are users turning to your product to solve? • How do users currently solve that problem and why does it need a solution? • How frequently do you expect users to engage with your product once they are habituated? • What user behavior do you want to make into a habit? Answering these questions will tell you whether or not you have a habit-forming product.
