My wife purchased one with LED lights that she calls her “concentration crown.” When she wears it, she’s clearly letting our daughter (and me) know not to interrupt her unless it’s absolutely necessary. Sometimes, we need explicit ways to signal our requests for interruption-free time. Techniques like this will help colleagues or family members pause and assess their own behaviors BEFORE they break your concentration.
