I've been waiting for this moment for months! Npj digital medicine, the digital health journal of Nature Research (Publishing) , published our original research about artificial intelligence-based FDA-approved medical devices and algorithms. It's our first publication in such a high-level journal. We aimed at filling two gaps: 1) The FDA should assess and approve A.I.-based medical devices and algorithms differently from others. 2) There should be an accessible database of such algorithms and devices as the FDA's website doesn't make it possible. Our team put a huge effort into creating an open access database and as the paper is available to everyone for free, please use it and share it if you find it useful! If you find any new items or we have missed something, please send your submissions, we'll cross-check it and update the database constantly. Hopefully, the FDA will soon take control over the database as they have the right resources to keep it growing.
