In a recent interview with Wired, Kai-Fu Lee gave artificial intelligence a B-minus grade in the fight against COVID. Does it mean it failed? I believe it's way better than nothing - considering that it couldn't have contributed much even a few years before. Not to mention its potentials in predicting future outbreaks, and that we read about its novel successful applications week by week.
