In deciding on my #TopNine2020 , the pictures I chose encapsulate some of the key lessons I learnt this year . 1. Work / Life balance is a key part of being happy. Understand your priorities, make harder calls and focus on fewer things that make a real difference to you and those around you. 2. Culture is key to your organizational success - embrace purpose, collaboration and engagement as central components to assist your team and business in dealing with challenges 3. It’s not meant to be easy. When we reflect back on this time in our lives and careers, did we put in the extra effort to organize ourselves for success now and in future. Tough times require tough choices and not everyone will be happy with your choices - that’s okay. 4. How you think about trust has forever changed. Work from home has really challenged how we lead teams and how execute our work. We had to trust others more this year - consequently there is now an opportunity to reimagine how work happens by considering what worked this year on a permanent basis. 5. Vulnerability can be a strength. Surrounding yourself with a great team can help you deliver success.
