I have often spoken on the importance of other hobbies and interests, especially when you have a stressful #job , which is really all #startup founders and investors. I was always a city girl, but I have become an avid gardener over the last two decades. I get almost the same thrill when I grow something new as when one of my portfolio companies does well. At the core of both is enjoying the process of nurturing a seed and seeing it bloom. Gardening is an excellent hobby. 1. It reduces stress taking you closer to the roots of nature 2.
