What is the real India? On my recent trip to the US, I was surprised to get many questions about 'Made in Heaven'. I was surprised that people in the US had watched it on Amazon Prime. Questions were about marriages, gay rights, lifestyles. Is this the real India? Contrast with the movie 'Article 15', is that the real India? I think India is full of contrasts. We have to build bridges to understand the realities of the many Indias. My takeaways from the movie 'Article 15': 1. Bringing any change starts with tolerance and empathy. We can’t bring change, especially behavioral and cultural, by sitting comfortably in urban India. 2. The concept of the bottom of the pyramid gets quoted so often as a market opportunity.
