Some key insights from Mary Meeker's Internet Trends Report 2019, which are relevant for Indian #startups - 1. India has 12% of the total Internet users. Much of this adoption is driven by telecom operations, such as Jio which grew 2X in a year reaching 307 million subscribers. Affordable data plans and suite of bundled apps ensure that India is now “almost constantly” online. 2. Pictures and videos are becoming the default mode of communication. And mobiles are the devices of choice. 3. CACs are going up but can’t exceed LTV for very long.
