It is easy to say that age is just a number while we are constantly told we should have attainable, actionable, and time sensitive, SMART goals... These projections and plans certainly put the pressure on our personal timelines... However, it is also comforting knowing that WE control the narrative and can make a switch at any age or phase of our lives! I remember a class I had in high school to plan for my future. We had to choose... 📓 A college... 💡Core studies... 💼 A career path... 👨‍👩‍👧‍👧 Even if we wanted a home and a family! At 16, I couldn't plan for the events following a swim meet let alone a future in digital marketing and changed majors four times with multiple degrees for my indecisive buttocks 😂 Don't put so much pressure on yourself and your future or the future of your children!
