Can we have a moment of silence for all of the businesses that have been forced to shut down indefinitely these past few months? Many of our favorites have turned their signs to CLOSE forever... The cafe where I used to order a strong, black coffee and a gluten-free scone to type away my worries is now an empty building with plywood windows. Today I decided to check in on prospects that had connected with me a year ago with interest in hiring me. I wanted to see how they are doing during these challenging times... I wholeheartedly believe that if they had said "YES - I'm in!" we would have worked together on a plan. With that plan and a little bit of marketing magic, they wouldn't have a 404 error code on their website or a domain up for sale... When you have a plan and you are able to pivot with the spins and turns of a global economy, you CAN remain agile. If you keep putting off that expert support, You are shutting yourself and/or your business off to that growth. My heart truly hurts for those businesses that had to shut down during these challenging times... But there is hope. There will always be hope.
