Have you ever been stuck in a rut? Have you felt like you can't get out of it, no matter how hard you try? When you are diagnosed with an incurable disease like cancer, it's easy to grieve and get stuck in a mental rut. Even as the "bubbly and blessed" I have felt my fair share of darkness fighting illness! We get out. We fight through the pain. We rise up and make the best of a very dark situation! Because the clouds WILL part 🌩 and the sun will come back out 🌞 Weathering the storm isn't about the cards you have in your hand... but about how you play the cards you've been dealt. That's why I stepped up to this challenge... AND I HAVE LEARNED A LOT! ✅ I have been rejected over and over again... ✅ Folks I NEVER thought would make a contribution showed up with extreme generosity... ✅ While those I thought would give ignored my inquiry. And THAT'S OKAY. This is a big challenge, but I'm here to fight for the loved ones I've lost and know that as a parent, NO mother or father should EVER have to lose their baby to cancer.
