With great power comes great responsibility, right? Well, as I continue to build my community beyond 50k, I'm realizing how powerful each word, review and image can be. I used to leave reviews EVERYWHERE. Exceptional experience? Google, Facebook & Yelp reviews. Terrible experience? Writing corporate HQ, Google, Facebook, Yelp, and more! Now... I second guess every word and action. For example, last week I had one of the worst experiences ever with a local restaurant. I could have put them out of business by publicly sharing the events that occured like I had previously done, But I thought, who am I to have such a power? If I share negativity, what does that make me? For the first time, I stepped back, reflected on the situation, and moved forward without a word. Your voice matters. But use it wisely...
