Awkward and nervous. I was asked to speak at the National Speakers Association of Wisconsin... And there was nothing more intimidating than presenting in a room filled with professional speakers! You see, at a recent keynote, I recieved my first negative review that said... "She's a bit too much." It hit me like a knife to the heart. This person didn't like the energy I brought. Would I have to pretend to be someone else? Dilute my essence? Quiet down and step back? After already committing to this engagement, I had to do something...
