TIP 7: REMEMBER HOW FAR YOU’VE COME! You have seen and done things that have been challenging at best and it’s hard to appreciate where you are today without acknowledging where you’ve been. Remember those days of searching through the recliner to find enough money for gas to get to work? Or when you were happy that “fasting” was cool because you couldn’t afford groceries until payday? Or when you couldn’t afford to fix your windshield wipers, so you tied strings to them and pulled them to clear your windshield from the rain? Oh yes. I feel you. Remember that and feel empowered. Look how far you’ve come! Just please be careful not to trigger trauma in your reflection.
