I have always LOVED the element of surprise and have been managing judgments my entire life. Strangers take one look at me and make their assumptions based on appearance. Add the fact that I'm a millennial to the mix and the entire world seems to judge me as a nobody or a moron. But I LOVE a challenge. That's why I decided to pick up the hockey stick as a teen and get tough, taking slapshot after slapshot to the stomach until the wind knocked me out cold in the goal... ...why I studied law until life pulled me in a different direction... ...why I obsess over neuroscience and quantum physics attending courses I'm definitely not qualified for... ...why I keep fighting for inclusion when my community of differently-abled warriors told me to "give up - nobody will ever want you." ...why I launched my business and speak all over the world, regardless of visual impairment and mobility issues. And I continue to prove them wrong through positivity and inspiration, encouraging them to rise up to THEIR greatest potential, too! Use those judgments as FUEL to be the best version of yourself.
