That one time I chatted to Gary Vee. 😇 it’s been 3 years... a lot has happened since I interviewed Gary Vaynerchuk in HK. I did 3 things to get his attention: 1. Prepare 2. Execute 3. Share My advice ... be prepared and increase your opportunity of likelihood. Quick backstory, Gary was visiting Hong Kong for the first time and was attending a conference, RISE. I happened to be there, and I was given a challenge... to interview Gary. To prepare, I tweeted him a video asking for a short interview. I predicted that Gary is avid Twitter user, while he doesn’t always responds. He consumes it to listen to his audience. Then, I camped outside the main entrance (and only door 🚪 of the conference). He said yes! It was an unbelievable rush, I used my smartphone to record the short interview. Instead of taking a selfie, the power of video is a better amplifier.
