Despite my "lack of perfect English" - I am where I am. My mum was an illiterate Viet-refugee. She gave birth to me in Australia. She worked hard for us 5 kids to go to school. She says to me: "Be doctor." I didn't. Blood freaks me out. Then she says "You good with words. Go, be lawyer". Instead, I became a creator. The education I gained through school allowed me to get a degree. But the best teacher is my mum. She gave me grit and resourcefulness to never give up. I used my curiosity of knowledge to create my own path. Many will correct my English. Looking at my typos, laughing at my weird grammar and syntax. Now, for anyone who corrects me - I thank them for being my free spellchecker. Otherwise, use Grammarly , which is what I did with this post. Or be best mates with wordsmiths - I have second eyes like Max , Jacob , Bobby and Anfernee .
