I don’t know why but I have this vivid memory of walking down the street as a kid with my older brother and my dad (who I saw once every couple of years). It had rained the night before and there were puddles in the gravel. I stomped in one and my dad told me to stop because I was making a mess. If I did it one more time I would be in trouble.
