Up until a few weeks ago, I thought I wanted a +500 person company. This entity that I could attach to my name that let everyone know I made it. I’ve reached this point of bliss (after what feels like years of tension), where I really just don’t care anymore. I don’t want that anymore. And for the first time in my life I feel like I’ve made it. I haven’t achieved all of my goals. But I’m good. With who I am, where I'm going, & what I actually want. My newsletter is about to hit 30k subscribers. It’s just me writing. No filter. Talking about the decisions that I’m making business, personal brand, and community wise. Just a journal. And I’ve been enjoying that so much more than anything else. Because I’m doing it because I want to. Not to hit a certain amount of likes. But simply because I have things that I need to say. And I say all this because I feel like clarity ebbs and flows. Sometimes we get it and sometimes we don’t. Sometimes what we wanted isn’t what we want anymore. Sometimes what we were isn’t what we are anymore. It’s not something we can prep for. It’s not something we can plan for. And that’s okay.
