I was 22 when I posted my first video on LinkedIn. I'm now 26. 🤯 I have grey hair too... so time flies 😂. In all seriousness though, before I really got started I walked up to someone that was partly responsible for all of the attention LinkedIn was getting: Josh Fechter. I told him that I looked up to him and wanted to do something similar. The first thing he told me was, "unfollow me." And that's stuck with me. Here's why: ✅ You will never lead if you only follow. You will never innovate if you only imitate. And that goes for everything – content, speaking, business, etc. ✅ You can (and totally should support people). Josh wasn't telling me to unfollow everyone. He was telling me to tune out the noise and find my own voice. ✅ I was never going to beat Josh, at being Josh.
