Last year I met Gary Vaynerchuk . My legs were shaking before I grabbed the mic for Q&A (I don't get nervous for anyone 😂). To keep it short, basically I quickly told my story, thanked him, and went up on stage to give him a hug. I was creating a data point in that moment. A point in time where our stories intertwined. I've thought a lot about influence the past few years. I gave a talk on it a few weeks ago. The reason why my legs were shaking and the reason why that hug met so much is this: I can go back and pinpoint the moment where Gary impacted my life. I was in the weight room, in college, and my triple jump coach told me to check out a guy named "GaryVee." And from there I went down the rabbit hole of entrepreneurship and content. Failed with two companies but found a lot of success with the third. Gary is impacting others & creating those data points at scale for other people.
