It still blows my mind that people pay me to speak on stages. Especially before I really understood the value that I brought. If I can do it, there is literally no reason why YOU shouldn't be speaking (if you want to be). And for aspiring speakers: ✅ I did a TEDx talk the first year I started speaking. I’m competitive and don’t like to be bad at things, so I did as many gigs as I could to improve. ✅ You are a business. Businesses evolve. So should you. ✅ It’s kind of like hiring a videographer. They’re not just paying for the equipment. They’re also paying for the years of work, knowledge, etc. ✅ It’s easier to speak if you have something to speak about.
