Most companies give 3-5 paid days off after a loss of a loved one.... My brother passed 4 months ago – I am my own boss & have a team of 7 not including myself... and it was hard going back to work. It was hard getting back in the swing of things. I can't imagine going through that as someone without the privilege that I had. I can't imagine not being able to explore my emotions and the changes that I've gone through. I've spent a lot of the past 3 years talking. Which I'm fine with, so long as it's helping people. I want to spend more time creating and exploring anything and everything that interests me. And right now the correlation between my recent success & grief is fascinating to me.
