I puked in the bathroom before my first speaking engagement. 🤯 This conversation was one of my favorites on any podcast, and they were all in high school. There is so much comparison out there. Especially from aspiring speakers. Here's what I think is important for people to know: ✅ I dropped out of a public speaking class on the first day because I found out you had to give speeches... 🤷🏽‍♂️ When I started speaking about things that I was passionate about it was a lot more fun. ✅ I still get nervous. I've just reverse engineered my state of flow / mode that I go into when I'm speaking or on camera. So those nerves don't effect me anymore. ✅ I am not a good speaker naturally. I've worked at it. I'm still working at it and I don't ever think that journey will end. Doesn't matter how big or small the stages are. There is always more room for growth. What are some of you speaking tips?
