The copy below is his. The copy/audio in the video is my edit from two years ago. (I liked the concept so much we turned it into a video 🙃). Copy plays a huge factor in whether people will click to watch the video or not. ____ Original copy: How do you disrupt an industry? Challenge the human condition.. We are thought to accept what’s presented to us as truth. Anyone that defies that scenario in turn becomes an outcast, a “Misfit.” Take a normal everyday occurrence like walking into an elevator. Instead of facing forward, turn around and face the wall. As people enter, they immediately stop in their tracks. They look puzzled, confused possibly terrified. You’ve challenged their comfort of what they’ve known and accepted to be true by facing a different way. They will tell their work colleagues, post about it on their social media channels and open up a dialog that influences our perception of riding an elevator. A minor adjustment that costs nothing.
