Kiely walked into our office and showed us her syllabus for one of her classes. - Create / Update your LinkedIn profile - Make 5 connections - Add skills to your profile - etc. Which is great. LinkedIn is awesome and students can totally benefit from the platform. But, Kiely crushes it with us and she has already obliterated all the expectations set out for her. Simply because she was persistent when we were looking for a marketing assistant and she's been able to learn by doing. And I want to stress that it's rarely about where you go to school. Or where you work. Or who you work for. It's about what you do with where you are and what you have. Resourcefulness > Resources. Always.
