Being a singer-songwriter for 6 years made me a better entrepreneur. I had a chat with Mike yesterday. And he referenced a video where a student said he was "having trouble making music because he was too busy watching Netflix." Mike went on to say that most musicians are obsessed with their craft. Creating rarely feels like a chore. And they understand: - No one owes you a view, follow, or subscription. - You have to work to build up a loyal fan base. - Your upbringing doesn't decide how good you are. The market does and your talent does. Entrepreneurship is the same way; which is why trolls have never really gotten to me personally. I understand that they don't owe me support nor is my success predicated on them. So long as my company can do what we say we can; and if I can deliver in the way I now I can, then that is all that matters. The market decides. Your level of talent decides. And your grit decides.
