I decline most brand deals. I went live on Instagram last night and I was asked “should you accept every brand deal that comes your way.” The simple answer is no. Here’s why I don’t accept everything: - You should spend more time building your brand than building someone else’s. Accepting everything will make you money quickly in the short term, but limit success in the long term. - Not every brand is aligned with mine or my company’s. I have spent years building relationships and if I start promoting things I don’t believe in (or promoting too much) I’ll lose credibility & trust quickly. It takes years to build trust and one wrong action to lose it. - It has to be something I genuinely like and think my community will like as well. Because if I don’t believe in it then 1). I can’t sell it. And 2). my community will not believe in it either. Protect your brand. Only rep the products you believe in. #justQ 🖤
