Giving a keynote to 4000 deans, professors and educators is a thrill, especially, if it's the opening talk of an amazing event like #Amee2018 . I've been teaching medical students for 10 years and summarized what I have learnt along the way. So I described how #digitalhealth technologies can transform medical education with patient empowerment, gamification and digital literacy. I talked about how the profession of being a physician could be the most exciting and creative one and why reading and watching science fiction helps us prepare students for the future.
